We will have a baptism on Sunday, February 14. If you would like to be baptized, please contact Pastor Tom or the church office. There will be a one-time class that you must attend prior to your baptism.

The Deacons are getting ready for the next Christmas in April service project! They are looking for an elderly and/or disabled person who needs repairs made to their home. If you are aware of someone in Queen Anne’s County who could be ministered to in this way, please contact Jerry Varney at 410-643-2029. It may be a friend, a neighbor, or someone you know.
If you would be willing to work on the home that is chosen, please let Jerry know or call the church office. All hands welcome!

The men’s Bible study group is studying The Call of Jesus every Tuesday evening at 6:45.
Our Haven Shelter, located at the Kent Island Methodist Church, reopened December 1st. IAC will run the shelter Jan. 28-30 and March 4-6. Volunteers are needed for: laundry, intake (5 pm-midnight), meals (breakfast, bag lunch, dinner), overnight monitor (midnight-6:30 am).
Donations would be appreciated: Clorox wipes, wash cloths, paper goods, Oust spray, latex gloves, over-the-counter medical supplies.

TUESDAY MORNINGS 10:30 AM: Ladies are studying Ruth and Esther (Max Lucado). Bring a bag lunch for fellowship afterward.
TUESDAY EVENINGS 6:45 PM: two studies : 1) The Patriarchs: Learning to Live by Faith and 2) Come Follow Me: a Discipleship Program. Please call the church office if you need copies of the homework, lecture, or CD. The Patriarch lectures are available to listen to on this website. Go to media center, select Bible Study and date. NOTE: a new study on the life of Joseph will begin February 2, after the conclusion of The Patriarchs on January 26. Newcomers are welcome!
IAC has an account at Today’s Yesterdays (a consignment shop near the Safeway in Chester). They are now accepting fall and Christmas items, winter clothing, household items, jewelry, etc. All items should be in resaleable condition. Proceeds from the sale of these items will be used to help meet needs in our community.
