“Hats Women Wear” Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 10 am till about 3 pm at Kent Island Methodist in the Seminar Room of the new wing. Lunch and afternoon tea will be provided. Bring your favorite tea cup and wear your favorite hat! Cost is $10 per person at the door.

Ladies only Skeet Shoot May 20

Ladies Bible Studies

TUESDAY MORNINGS 10:30AM. Study: Spiritual Warfare — Disarming the Enemy Through the Power of God. A study guide is available $5.25. All ladies welcome!

TUESDAY EVENINGS 6:45 PM. All ladies welcome. The Acts of the Apostles continues through spring. Childcare available. This study is offered at no cost. Beginning June 12: Discerning the Voice of God by Priscilla Shirer.

Adult Sunday School Class

The Adult Sunday School class meets at 9:00 am. in the church library. A new class for men and women began February 26 and is entitled ”The Bondage Breaker–Steps to Freedom in Christ.” There will be a book for this class ($7). The women’s class on Colossians & Philemon will take a break so that all can participate in the Bondage Breaker study. All welcome.

Divine Threads

The youth of IAC are collecting clothing for the community ministry “Divine Threads” that is housed in the Judy Center in Sudlersville. Please bring in your unwanted clothes of all sizes. Look for a youth and say, “Here’s some clothes!” This is an opportunity to share the gospel while giving folks a helping hand. Divine Threads is a continual ministry, not just a temporary clothing drive, so feel free to bring clothing anytime, all year long.

College/Career Class

Celebrate Recovery at Island Alliance

Celebrate Recovery meets at Island Alliance Church every Friday evening beginning at 7:00 pm with worship, testimony, and teaching. From 8:00-9:00 pm the men and ladies will separate into open share groups for accountability and support. After 9:00 pm, feel free to enjoy fellowship time!
