Wings of Glory will perform at Island Alliance Church on Saturday, February 27. Music is from 7 pm till 9 pm. Doors open at 6 pm. Concert is free; a love offering will be accepted.

Women’s Leadership Studies

Women’s’ Leadership Studies Unit 4: Fundamentals of Communication - Master the ability to engage your listeners in a variety of venues such as public speaking, bulletins, newsletters, etc. You will also learn techniques in mentoring and discipling as well. Saturday, March 13 at Frederick Alliance Church in Frederick, MD.

The baptism originally scheduled for February 14 has been postponed until March (specific date to be announced soon). If you would like to be baptized, please contact Pastor Tom or the church office. There will be a one-time class that you must attend prior to your baptism.

Adult Valentine Dessert Social

District Workshop January 22

“Involving Kids in a Global Vision” will be held at Island Alliance on Friday, January 22, 2010 from 6:00 pm-9:30 pm. The 3-session workshop is for parents and kids. Speakers Carol Laut and Irma Chon will help you and your children see how God is raising up children to be a “House of Prayer” for all the nations. There will be hands-on activities for the children while the adults are involved with other aspects of the workshop. Childcare is available. Refreshments will be served during the breaks.
