Bible Quizzing

The Gospel Project for Kids! 

Meetings for Pre-K -Grade 5 will meet the second Wednesday of the month from 6:00 - 7:30 pm. Nursery is available for younger siblings. Time will include crafts, music and story time. Haven Ministries

The shelter (located at Kent Island Methodist Church) operates Oct to March.  There are two monthly food pantries that are open the third Friday of the month for QA County residents (must show ID). They meet open at 5:30pm at Safe Harbor Church in Stevensville, and Centreville United Methodist Church in Centreville.

Those interested in volunteering to help throughout the year can contact Jeannie Carpenter at 410-739-4705.

Operation Christmas Child

For June, July, and August we will be collecting School Supplies to help kids get to school: crayons, pencils, spiral notebooks, pencil sharpeners, and erasers can be donated in the church lobby to use at our church packing party, Oct 19th, from 10am to 12pm.

Haven Ministries Food Pantry

Food Pantry on the third FRIDAY of every month except November.  The time is 5:30 - 7:00 pm.  Queen Anne's County residents - bring photo ID.  No arrivals prior to 4:30 pm.  Beginning in July, there will be two panties:  at Safe Harbor Presbyterian Church for residents in zip codes 21666, 21619, 21638, and 21658.  All other QA County residents can go to Centreville United Methodist.  Also visit Our Daily Thread to donate and to purchase.  At St. Paul's Church in Centreville, Haven Ministries offers classes in personal skills, interview skills, life skills, and more.  The class schedule is posted on the bulletin board.

Please feel free to take one of the Alliance Life magazines or any of the other literature displayed in the back of the sanctuary.  Also, be sure to check the bulletin board for community events and letters from International Workers.  In the lobby is also a greeting card display if you want to send someone a card of encouragement.
