News and Notes
Operation Christmas Child
We are collecting items to make up many boxes. This month, we will focus on school supplies: no.2 pencils, 24-pk crayons, and 70-sheet spiral notebooks. K-Mart has a really incredible deal on these particular items now till Sept. 15. Pick up a flyer at the info table for specifics. Also, check out the table for other creative ideas. You can take a box and fill it yourself with whatever items you want. Hint: use empty items you include in your shoebox to hold other items! Be sure not to include military toys, liquids, etc. as listed in the OCC brochure.
